There is a secret disease that you may easily contract by an accident, like reflux sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), but, this disease is caused by an injury of the parasympathetic nervous system, muscarinic nerves. Scar tissue keeps these neurons perpetutually excited and this excitation spreads, awakening muscarinic neurons in the brain which are normally sedated by seratonin mediated inhibitory neurons, which are now overridden by this excitation.
